Christ sends the Church not merely to inform, but to preach, teach, baptize, sanctify and visibly gather all nations.
Teaching
The Church does not teach private opinion, but the apostolic rule of faith in Scripture, Tradition, Magisterium and sacrament.
Baptism
The missionary command leads to baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and incorporation into the visible Church.
Witness
Apologetics, culture, media, education and works of charity must be ordered toward holiness and truth.
The commission
“Euntes ergo docete omnes gentes, baptizantes eos in nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti.”
The apostolate does not belong at the margin of the Church. It flows from Christ, from baptism, from truth and from love for souls.
