Te Deum laudamus: Te Dominum confitemur. Te aeternum Patrem omnis terra veneratur.

Tibi omnes Angeli; Tibi caeli et universae Potestates; Tibi Cherubim et Seraphim incessabili voce proclamant: Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus Dominus Deus Sabaoth. Pleni sunt caeli et terra maiestatis gloriae Tuae.

Te gloriosus Apostolorum chorus; Te Prophetarum laudabilis numerus; Te Martyrum candidatus laudat exercitus. Te per orbem terrarum sancta confitetur Ecclesia.

Patrem immensae maiestatis; venerandum Tuum verum et unicum Filium; Sanctum quoque Paraclitum Spiritum.

Tu Rex gloriae, Christe. Tu Patris sempiternus es Filius. Tu, ad liberandum suscepturus hominem, non horruisti Virginis uterum.

Tu, devicto mortis aculeo, aperuisti credentibus regna caelorum. Tu ad dexteram Dei sedes in gloria Patris. Iudex crederis esse venturus.

Te ergo quaesumus, Tuis famulis subveni, quos pretioso sanguine redemisti. Aeterna fac cum Sanctis Tuis in gloria numerari.

Salvum fac populum Tuum, Domine, et benedic hereditati Tuae. Et rege eos et extolle illos usque in aeternum. Per singulos dies benedicimus Te; et laudamus nomen Tuum in saeculum et in saeculum saeculi.

Dignare, Domine, die isto sine peccato nos custodire. Miserere nostri, Domine, miserere nostri. Fiat misericordia Tua, Domine, super nos, quemadmodum speravimus in Te. In Te, Domine, speravi: non confundar in aeternum.

English

We praise Thee, O God; we acknowledge Thee to be the Lord. All the earth doth worship Thee, the Father everlasting.

To Thee all Angels; to Thee the heavens and all the Powers; to Thee the Cherubim and Seraphim cry without ceasing: Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of hosts. The heavens and the earth are full of the majesty of Thy glory.

The glorious choir of the Apostles praises Thee; the admirable company of the Prophets praises Thee; the white-robed army of Martyrs praises Thee. The holy Church throughout all the world acknowledges Thee.

The Father of infinite majesty; Thy adorable, true and only Son; and the Holy Ghost, the Comforter.

Thou art the King of glory, O Christ. Thou art the everlasting Son of the Father. When Thou didst take upon Thee to deliver man, Thou didst not abhor the Virgin’s womb.

When Thou hadst overcome the sting of death, Thou didst open the kingdom of heaven to all believers. Thou sittest at the right hand of God in the glory of the Father. We believe that Thou shalt come to be our Judge.

We therefore pray Thee, help Thy servants whom Thou hast redeemed with Thy precious Blood. Make them to be numbered with Thy Saints in glory everlasting.

Save Thy people, O Lord, and bless Thine inheritance. Govern them and lift them up for ever. Day by day we bless Thee, and we praise Thy name for ever and for ever and ever.

Deign, O Lord, to keep us this day without sin. Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us. Let Thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, as we have hoped in Thee. In Thee, O Lord, have I hoped: let me never be confounded.

Dich, Gott, loben wir; Dich, Herr, bekennen wir. Dich, den ewigen Vater, verehrt die ganze Erde.

Dir rufen alle Engel, Dir die Himmel und alle Mächte, Dir die Cherubim und Seraphim ohne Ende zu: Heilig, heilig, heilig, Herr, Gott der Heerscharen. Himmel und Erde sind erfüllt von der Herrlichkeit Deiner Majestät.

Dich preist der glorreiche Chor der Apostel; Dich die lobwürdige Zahl der Propheten; Dich das weissgekleidete Heer der Märtyrer. Dich bekennt über den ganzen Erdkreis die heilige Kirche.

Den Vater unermesslicher Majestät; Deinen anbetungswürdigen, wahren und einzigen Sohn; und den Heiligen Geist, den Tröster.

Du bist der König der Herrlichkeit, Christus. Du bist des Vaters ewiger Sohn. Du hast, um den Menschen zu erlösen, den Schoss der Jungfrau nicht gescheut.

Rette Dein Volk, o Herr, und segne Dein Erbe. Führe sie und erhebe sie in Ewigkeit. An jedem Tag preisen wir Dich und loben Deinen Namen in Ewigkeit.

Bewahre uns, o Herr, an diesem Tag ohne Sünde. Erbarme Dich unser, o Herr, erbarme Dich unser. Deine Barmherzigkeit, o Herr, sei über uns, wie wir auf Dich gehofft haben. Auf Dich, o Herr, habe ich gehofft: in Ewigkeit werde ich nicht zuschanden.
