At Constantinople, of St. Acathius, a centurion, who in the persecution of Dioclesian and Maximian, being accused by Firmus the tribune for a Christian, and cruelly tortured by Bibian the judge at Perinthus, was at Constantinople finally by Flaccinus, proconsul, beheaded whose body; being by divine power brought unto the shore of Scyllacium, is there kept with very great honour.
