Martyrological notice
At Rome, in the way called Salaria, the passion oi St. Apronian, notary, who being yet a Gentile, whilst he brought St. Sisinius out of prison to present him before Laodicius the governor, hearing this voice from heaven, "Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess the kingdom which is prepared for you from the beginning of the world," believing, was baptized, and after received sentence of death for the confession of our Lord.

Romae, via Salaria, passio sancti Aproniani Commentariensis, qui, adhuc Gentilis, cum sanctum Sisinium e carcere educeret ut Laodicio Praefecto praesentaret, vocemque de caelo factam audiret: « Venite, benedicti Patris mei, percipite regnum, quod vobis paratum est a constitutione mundi», credens baptizatur, et postea, in confessione Domini, vitae finem sententia capitali accepit.
