Martyrological notice
At Athens, of St. Aristides, renowned for his faith and wisdom, who gave up a book to Adrian the emperor, treating of the Christian Religion, and containing reasons of our doctrine; as also made an oration in the presence of the said emperor, wherein he manifestly proved that Christ Jesus was the onlj true God.
