Calimerius
Life and witness
At Milan, of St. Calimerius, bishop and martyr, who apprehended in the persecution of Antoninus, after many wounds, and a sword run through his neck, cast headlong into a well, finished the course of his martyrdom.
Biographical overview
There is also a beatus named Calimerius of Montechiaro (c. 1430–1521). Calimerius (Italian: Calimero, Byzantine Greek: Καλημέριος) (died 280 AD) was an early bishop of Milan. He is honoured as a Saint in the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches and his feast day is on July 31.
