1 Dtmmt». This testimoniam is sabscribed by the Thomas Fleming, titular Archbishop of Dublin, to whom Colgan has dedicated his Acta Sanctorum Hibemiie. He was the son of William Fleming, Baron of Slane, and at a very early age took the vows of a Fran- ciscan friar. It is said that he was consecrated a Bishop before he wa.s thirty years of age.
