Philologus and Patrobas were Christians of Rome, to whom S. Paul sent his salutations. Philologus, according to Pseudo-Hippolytus, was one of the seventy disciples, and bishops of Sinope. Pseudo-Dorotheus says the same. Pa- trobas, according to these two authorities, was also one of the seventy, and bishop of Puteoli. They call him Patrobulus.
