Dulcissime Iesu, Redemptor humani generis, respice nos ante conspectum Tuum humillime provolutos. Tui sumus, Tui esse volumus; quo autem Tibi coniuncti firmius esse possimus, en hodie Sacratissimo Cordi Tuo se quisque nostrum sponte dedicat.

Te quidem multi numquam noverunt; Te, spretis mandatis Tuis, multi repudiarunt. Miserere utrorumque, benignissime Iesu, atque ad sanctum Cor Tuum rape universos. Rex esto, Domine, nec fidelium tantum qui nullo tempore discessere a Te, sed etiam prodigorum filiorum qui Te reliquerunt; fac ut domum paternam cito repetant, ne miseria et fame pereant.

Rex esto eorum quos aut opinionum error deceptos habet aut discordia separatos, eosque ad portum veritatis atque unitatem fidei revoca, ut brevi fiat unum ovile et unus Pastor. Largire, Domine, Ecclesiae Tuae securam cum incolumitate libertatem; largire cunctis gentibus tranquillitatem ordinis. Most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us humbly prostrate before Thy presence. We are Thine and Thine we wish to be; but to be more surely united with Thee, behold, each one of us freely consecrates himself today to Thy most Sacred Heart.

Many have never known Thee; many, despising Thy commandments, have rejected Thee. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them to Thy Sacred Heart. Be Thou King, O Lord, not only of the faithful who have never forsaken Thee, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned Thee; grant that they may quickly return to their Father’s house, lest they perish of misery and hunger.

Be Thou King of those who are deceived by erroneous opinions or separated by discord; call them back to the harbour of truth and the unity of faith, so that soon there may be one flock and one Shepherd. Grant, O Lord, to Thy Church secure and complete liberty; grant to all nations peace and order. Make the one cry resound from one end of the earth to the other: Praise be to the divine Heart through which salvation has come to us; to It be glory and honour for ever. Amen.

Liebster Jesus, Erlöser des Menschengeschlechtes, blicke auf uns herab, die wir in Demut vor Dir niederknien. Dein sind wir und Dein wollen wir sein; damit wir aber inniger mit Dir verbunden werden, weiht sich heute jeder von uns freiwillig Deinem heiligsten Herzen.

Viele haben Dich niemals erkannt; viele haben Deine Gebote verachtet und Dich verworfen. Erbarme Dich ihrer aller, gütigster Jesus, und ziehe sie an Dein heiligstes Herz. Sei König, o Herr, nicht nur über die Gläubigen, die Dich nie verlassen haben, sondern auch über die verlorenen Söhne, die von Dir gegangen sind; gib, dass sie bald ins Vaterhaus zurückkehren, damit sie nicht in Elend und Hunger zugrunde gehen.

Sei König über alle, die durch Irrtum getäuscht oder durch Zwietracht getrennt sind; rufe sie zurück zum Hafen der Wahrheit und zur Einheit des Glaubens, damit bald eine Herde und ein Hirt werde. Gewähre, o Herr, Deiner Kirche sichere und unversehrte Freiheit; gewähre allen Völkern Ruhe und Ordnung. Lass von einem Ende der Erde bis zum andern der eine Ruf erschallen: Lob sei dem göttlichen Herzen, durch das uns das Heil erworben wurde; Ihm sei Ehre und Herrlichkeit in Ewigkeit. Amen.
