Ante Communionem: Domine Iesu Christe, Fili Dei vivi, fac me digne accedere ad mensam Tuam, cum fide, humilitate, contritione et amore.

Communio spiritualis: Domine Iesu, credo Te vere praesentem in Sanctissimo Sacramento. Amo Te super omnia et desidero Te in animam meam recipere. Cum nunc sacramentaliter Te recipere non possim, veni saltem spiritualiter in cor meum.

Post Communionem: Gratias Tibi ago, Domine Iesu, quod ad me venire dignatus es. Mane mecum, et ne permittas me separari a Te.

English

Before Communion: O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, make me approach Thy table worthily, with faith, humility, contrition and love.

Spiritual Communion: O Lord Jesus, I believe that Thou art truly present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love Thee above all things and desire to receive Thee into my soul. Since I cannot now receive Thee sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.

After Communion: I thank Thee, O Lord Jesus, that Thou hast deigned to come to me. Remain with me, and permit me not to be separated from Thee.

Vor der Kommunion: Herr Jesus Christus, Sohn des lebendigen Gottes, lass mich würdig zu Deinem Tisch treten, mit Glauben, Demut, Reue und Liebe.

Geistige Kommunion: Herr Jesus, ich glaube, dass Du im allerheiligsten Sakrament wahrhaft gegenwärtig bist. Ich liebe Dich über alles und sehne mich danach, Dich in meine Seele aufzunehmen. Da ich Dich jetzt nicht sakramental empfangen kann, so komm wenigstens geistigerweise in mein Herz.

Nach der Kommunion: Ich danke Dir, Herr Jesus, dass Du zu mir zu kommen geruht hast. Bleibe bei mir und lass nicht zu, dass ich von Dir getrennt werde.
