Dulcissime Iesu, cuius caritas ab hominibus oblivione, neglegentia et contemptu rependitur, ecce nos ante altare tuum prostrati tam indignam ingratitudinem peculiari honore reparare intendimus.
Suscipe, quaesumus, oblationem nostram et fac nos fideles Sacratissimo Cordi tuo in vita et in morte. Amen.
Most sweet Jesus, whose love is repaid by men with forgetfulness, negligence and contempt, behold us prostrate before Thine altar, intending by a special act of honour to repair such unworthy ingratitude.
Receive, we beseech Thee, our offering and make us faithful to Thy Sacred Heart in life and in death. Amen.
Gütigster Jesus, dessen Liebe von den Menschen mit Vergessenheit, Nachlässigkeit und Verachtung vergolten wird, siehe uns vor Deinem Altare niedergeworfen, um solchen unwürdigen Undank durch besondere Verehrung zu sühnen.
